Logistics Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead end‑to‑end logistics operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure operational excellence in Davao.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Logistics Leadership: Manage end‑to‑end logistics operations, including customer engagement, safety and compliance, warehousing, and transportation. Develop and implement strategies to achieve world‑class logistics services and outperform market expectations.
• Customer & Market Focus: Visit customers to understand their logistics needs, gather market insights, and develop value‑added services. Act as the primary logistics contact for external partners and clients, actively promoting our services.
• Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization: Oversee warehouse and terminal operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost‑effectiveness. Optimize freight costs to enhance competitive advantage and improve our cost‑to‑serve. Drive digitalization initiatives to streamline processes.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing logistics team, setting clear KPIs and fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, and Site Logistics teams to align strategies, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• College graduate with a degree in Engineering or Business‑related course.
• Minimum five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity managing highly integrated distribution and supply chain operations in a digitized environment; experience in customer service and sales.
• Proven experience in managing comprehensive logistics and distribution operations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, cost management, and customer service excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and implement strategic logistics initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a knack for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with market dynamics in the Philippines and experience in developing customer‑centric logistics solutions.
