Litigation Lawyer

About the role

The Litigation Lawyer will represent Home Credit Philippines in criminal, civil, and labor matters, safeguarding the company's interests across all legal actions. This role involves active participation in court and mediation proceedings, as well as close collaboration with internal teams to ensure legal compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Attend court hearings and monitor case progress to protect the company's best interests.
• Represent the company in mediation, settlement conferences, and quasi‑judicial agency hearings.
• Prepare and file pleadings, affidavits, contracts, and memoranda as required.
• Provide regular updates on assigned cases and recommend appropriate actions.
• Participate in weekly Anti‑Fraud meetings, offering legal opinions and updates on fraud‑related cases.
• Supervise and coordinate with the assigned paralegal to maintain accurate case files.
• Conduct legal research and apply relevant jurisprudence to similar cases.
• Review HR and other contracts to ensure validity and alignment with company interests.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and membership in the IBP in good standing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer software, particularly Office 365.
• Willingness to travel nationwide as needed.
