Kitchen Assistant – Food Preparation & Service Support

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. In this role you will support the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring high standards of quality and safety while working under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to recipes and chef instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and food storage areas.
• Help with food plating and presentation for service.
• Follow health and safety regulations, applying proper food handling practices.
• Support kitchen staff with various tasks, including the heavy lifting of supplies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 13 years of experience working in a kitchen environment.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks.

Required skills

• Strong cooking skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
