About the role

The Editorial Production Assistant supports the editorial team by ensuring that each page meets the highest standards of accuracy, design, and layout. Working under the supervision of Section Editors and the Editorial Systems Head, you will play a key part in the publishing workflow.

Key responsibilities

Proofread editorial pages for spelling, grammar, and factual consistency.
Execute design and layout tasks using publishing software.
Incorporate revisions and updates into pages as directed.
Collaborate closely with Section Editors and the Editorial Systems Head to meet publishing deadlines.
Maintain style guidelines and ensure uniformity across all publications.

Required profile

College graduate, preferably with a major in Journalism or Mass Communication.
At least one year of experience as a proofreader.
One year of training or experience in production work within a publishing firm.
Familiarity with publishing tools and a strong eye for detail.
