Aftersales Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Aftersales Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for installed solar photovoltaic systems. The role involves diagnosing issues, coordinating repairs, and ensuring optimal performance for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client concerns, technical issues, and service requests related to installed solar systems.
• Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for abnormalities or failures.
• Coordinate repair, replacement, and corrective actions for defective components such as panels, inverters, batteries, breakers, and monitoring devices.
• Provide remote and on‑site technical assistance as required.
• Monitor system performance using monitoring platforms, analyze generation data, and prepare performance reports with corrective recommendations.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance inspections, ensuring proper documentation and timely completion.
• Process warranty claims, maintain warranty and service records, and coordinate service schedules with clients and internal teams.
• Address customer inquiries, educate clients on system operation and maintenance, and maintain positive relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare technical, incident, and maintenance reports and keep accurate service records.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Installation, Sales, and Procurement departments and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (advantageous).
• Experience with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, electrical systems, or after‑sales support.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork and site visits.
