Outbound Checker

About the role

The Outbound Checker ensures that goods are correctly prepared, loaded and documented for delivery. Working closely with drivers and warehouse staff, the role focuses on accuracy and safety in outbound operations.

Key responsibilities

• Sort pallets before loading and unloading.
• Install protective devices such as bracing, padding or strapping to prevent shifting or damage.
• Prepare cartons for specific stores by counting each item before loading.
• Verify that each carton carries the correct sticker.
• Collaborate with drivers to count cartons using a checklist and confirm tally after loading.
• Complete consignment notes and post delivery details via Skype.
• Perform 5S housekeeping before the start of operations.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

Required profile

• High school graduate.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in warehousing and inventory management.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – intermediate or advanced level.
