Machine Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our precision manufacturing team at Coherent. The role involves interpreting work instructions, performing inspections, and using high‑accuracy measurement tools in a cleanroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret welding procedure specifications (WPS), special instructions, and work orders.
• Conduct inspections and quality‑assurance checks on manufactured parts.
• Use precision measurement equipment such as microscopes, digital calipers, micrometers and film‑thickness gauges.
• Encode production data and operate basic computer applications.

Required profile

• College level education or equivalent; technical/vocational background preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot process inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Strong time‑management skills in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
• Safety‑aware with knowledge of cleanroom protocols and chemical handling.
• Effective communication in English and Tagalog; teamwork oriented.
