Tax Accountant

About the role

Asiacruit is seeking a meticulous Tax Accountant to join its finance team. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax filings, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and supporting tax planning initiatives for a diverse portfolio of entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax and other statutory returns for multiple entities.
• Assist in tax provision preparation, quarterly/annual reconciliations and ensure accurate tax accruals and disclosures.
• Support tax planning projects, provide advice on cross‑border transactions, transfer pricing and entity structuring.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and respond to information requests.
• Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging ERP and tax technology for automation.
• Collaborate with finance, payroll, legal and operations teams to gather information and communicate tax impacts.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, tax research and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CTA is desirable.
• 3+ years of experience in tax compliance or tax accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP Business One, Xero).
• Advanced Excel modeling.
• Familiarity with tax software and data‑analytics tools.
