System O&M Manager

About the role

The System O&M Manager will lead the planning, development, coordination and integration of maintenance and asset‑management requirements for railway systems. This role ensures operational readiness, trial operations and smooth transition to commercial service for the MMSP and NSCR O&M concessionaires.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and progressively develop railway system maintenance requirements for operational readiness, trial and commercial phases.
• Identify maintenance and asset‑management strategies, plans and the minimum resources and competencies required.
• Lead the coordinated development of high‑level MMSP and NSCR Maintenance Plans and supplemental guidelines with system, rolling‑stock and infrastructure experts.
• Support the O&M Rule Expert (Integration Manager) in preparing the MMSP Interoperation Plan.
• Coordinate with O&M Program Managers and the Railway Operation Manager to prepare maintenance requirements for operational readiness and trial operations.
• Ensure integration of maintenance requirements into commercial operations and inter‑operation with MMSP.

Required profile

• Proven experience in railway or transport system operations and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance planning.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and collaborate with concessionaires, contractors and asset operators.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills for producing high‑level maintenance plans and guidelines.
• Experience with large‑scale infrastructure projects and inter‑organizational coordination.
