System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated System Administrator to join our global outsourcing team. You will ensure the reliable operation of our computer systems and servers, supporting a variety of business applications and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the IT Support Department by handling tickets related to domains, servers, systems, and backup architecture.
• Monitor, configure, and adjust performance of physical and virtual hosts, including processors, memory, and data stores.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scaling activities to guarantee system uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and virtual system issues.
• Develop data description specifications as needed.
• Support network connectivity issues involving servers, network devices, and overall IT architecture.
• Promote company core values and participate in additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in IT preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a system administrator, programmer, or analyst, preferably in an IBMi environment.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and collaborate with the IT team.

Required skills

• System administration of Windows and IBMi platforms.
• Experience with virtualization and backup solutions.
• Network troubleshooting and LAN/WAN hardware knowledge.
• Server hardware configuration and maintenance.
