Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will sit at the centre of a fast‑growing multi‑brand beauty business, ensuring shelves stay stocked across New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and the United States. Working remotely, you will provide commercial leadership with early warnings of any supply risk before it becomes a stock‑out or delivery failure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor sell‑through and run rates across all retailers and markets, flagging purchase orders (POs) ahead of stock shortages.
• Analyse internal order history and trend data to drive proactive PO creation and placement with contract manufacturers and the packaging supplier.
• Track PO status from placement through supplier confirmation, production and dispatch, immediately reporting any delay, quantity discrepancy or pricing variance.
• Coordinate freight and shipping timelines with manufacturers and freight partners, monitor inbound shipment status and flag delays.
• Maintain accurate lead‑time records per manufacturer and lane, including the packaging supplier’s 35‑day production cycle plus sea‑freight transit.
• Use Cin7 Core to maintain visibility of stock cover by SKU and market, calculate weekly stock‑cover weeks, and raise flags for any SKU falling below agreed thresholds.
• Provide a structured weekly update covering POs, inbound shipments, stock‑cover flags and any blockers requiring client input.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience in purchase‑order management, logistics coordination and stock‑control reporting.
• Comfort with analysing sell‑through data and run‑rate trends to anticipate supply needs.
• Excellent communication skills to keep internal stakeholders and external suppliers aligned.
