Subcontracts Manager

About the role

ACCIONA Construction is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to lead the full lifecycle management of subcontract packages for projects in the Philippines. The role involves negotiating terms, aligning subcontract agreements with the main contract, and ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare subcontract packages, including scope of works, specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
• Negotiate subcontract terms, pricing, scope alignment, and contractual conditions.
• Ensure subcontract agreements align with main contract obligations and project risk profile.
• Administer all subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against scope, programme, quality, and safety requirements.
• Manage subcontract variations, claims, instructions, and contractual correspondence.
• Certify interim payments in coordination with quantity surveyors and project controls.
• Ensure compliance with subcontract terms, conditions, and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years total experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a similar subcontract management role.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management abilities in multicultural environments.
