Software Engineer Level III – Java

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer Level III with strong Java expertise to develop, implement, and maintain high‑availability applications that support our business objectives. The role involves full‑stack development, production support, and collaboration within Agile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile Program Manager, Digital Product Manager, and Business Systems Analyst to capture stakeholder requirements and produce design specifications, source code, and test artifacts.
• Coordinate with software architects and senior engineers to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and best practices.
• Design, code, review, and test software components, including microservices built with Spring Boot and API integrations.
• Track and mitigate engineering risks, communicate issues, and provide status updates to the Agile team and program managers.
• Provide production support, resolve user issues, and adhere to SLA commitments.
• Contribute to product roadmap estimates and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects and mentor less‑experienced peers.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Reporting tools: PowerBI, SSRS.
