Shift Engineer – Building MEP & HVAC Operations

About the role

The Shift Engineer will oversee engineering operations and maintenance for Robinsons Offices’ commercial buildings in Luisita, Tarlac. You will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and HVAC systems run efficiently while supporting tenant needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operation and preventive maintenance of MEPFS and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with tenants on technical and administrative requests, ensuring compliance with fit‑out guidelines.
• Implement energy‑conservation measures and analyse utility consumption trends.
• Record and process tenant utility charges accurately.
• Maintain the 52‑week maintenance calendar using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Supervise third‑party technicians and contracted maintenance providers.

Required profile

• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
• 0–2 years of experience in engineering operations, repair, and maintenance of commercial or office buildings.
• Highly dependable, creative, and ownership‑driven.
• Willingness to work onsite on a rotating shift schedule.

Required skills

• MEPFS and HVAC system knowledge.
• Electrical substations and power plant basics.
• Elevator and escalator maintenance.
• Water distribution and sewage treatment systems.
• Fire detection, alarm, and protection systems.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
