SEO & AEO Content Specialist – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

GrowthAssistant is looking for an SEO & AEO Content Specialist to own organic and AI‑search visibility for a fast‑growing marketing organization serving enterprise and growth‑stage brands. You will manage the end‑to‑end content publishing workflow, ensuring content is optimized for traditional search and AI‑driven discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage final publishing workflow, reviewing formatting, links, metadata and on‑page completeness before publishing via the CMS.
• Identify and add relevant internal links using sitemaps and AI tools (Claude or similar) and ensure natural anchor text.
• Conduct keyword, competitor and topic research with tools such as Semrush, Conductor or Ahrefs and create actionable planning documents.
• Own topical maps, prevent cannibalization and plan content calendars by funnel stage and seasonality.
• Turn entity/intent research into concise editorial briefs with keywords, entities, internal links, schema, CTA and success metrics.
• Assist with SEO performance reporting, monitor crawl/indexation, sitemaps, canonicals, redirects and Core Web Vitals.
• Use LLM‑visibility tools (e.g., AthenaHQ) to track AI mentions, citations and SERP shifts.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on SEO, content operations or on‑page optimization experience (agency or in‑house).
• Direct experience managing and publishing content in WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot or custom enterprise CMS.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, PageSpeed Insights and major SEO suites (Semrush, Conductor, Ahrefs).
• Active engagement with modern AI search paradigms and comfort using Claude, ChatGPT or specialized LLM‑visibility platforms.
• Ability to build detailed, intent‑driven content briefs and understand information architecture, topic clusters and SERP feature optimization.
• High attention to detail for formatting, technical tags and broken links, with strong written English communication.
