Senior Maintenance Technician

About the role

As a Senior Maintenance Technician at CBRE, you will maintain medium to large‑sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. The position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, delivering preventive maintenance, repairs, and support for building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and execute repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders, estimate time and material requirements, and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring efficient operation of all systems.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2‑3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination).
• Ability to meet physical demands such as stooping, standing, climbing ladders and lifting 50 lb or more.
• Proficiency in using standard procedures to solve routine problems.
• Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices to make judgments.
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
