About the role
DanChurchAid is looking for an experienced Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to support its humanitarian programmes in Bangui, Central African Republic. The role ensures that field teams have the logistical resources, tools and procedures needed to deliver aid efficiently and in line with donor requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes and supply‑chain activities for all DCA operations in the country.
- Oversee fleet, asset and stock management, ensuring proper control and maintenance.
- Provide direct logistical support to field bases, troubleshooting bottlenecks and proposing technical solutions.
- Carry out basic equipment repairs or guide teams on maintenance and adjustments.
- Promote a service‑oriented, collaborative approach across programme, finance, HR and security departments.
- Strengthen the capacities of staff and implementing partners through training and mentorship.
Required profile
- Significant experience in procurement and logistics within humanitarian or development contexts.
- Ability to work autonomously in a challenging, post‑conflict environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, solution‑driven mindset.
- Fluency in both French and English.
