Procurement Buyer

About the role

The Procurement Buyer will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while optimizing cost and maintaining compliance. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to support the company's operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Review and manage purchase requisitions from various departments.
• Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers; issue RFQs and compare offers.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and lead times with suppliers.
• Create and release purchase orders, ensuring accurate item details, pricing, quantity, and delivery dates.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers to resolve delays, quality issues, or order discrepancies.
• Collaborate with finance, warehouse, logistics, and other internal stakeholders to align procurement activities.
• Track order fulfillment, monitor supplier performance, and prepare spending and savings reports.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Ability to analyze quotations and contracts.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supply chain management.
• Business ethics and integrity.
