Math Curriculum Designer – Remote (2‑Hour Learning)

About the role

Fast Math is looking for a Math Curriculum Designer to lead the development of its 2‑Hour Learning program. You will use AI tools to identify and remove obstacles that prevent students from achieving rapid, accurate calculation, transforming foundational math practice into automatic fluency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze student performance data, assessments, platform metrics, and work samples to pinpoint deficits in math fluency, speed, and accuracy.
• Apply large‑language‑model (LLM) tools, no‑code automation, and agentic AI systems to redesign practice progressions, explanations, scaffolds, and interventions.
• Refine questions, answer explanations, distractors, rubrics, and assessments to uncover misconceptions and precisely measure mastery.
• Review AI‑generated or AI‑modified materials to ensure mathematical accuracy, grade appropriateness, clarity, rigor, and alignment with Fast Math’s learning‑science framework.
• Continuously iterate the Fast Math curriculum until students transition from laborious calculation to automatic execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work with data and AI‑driven content creation tools.
• Strong understanding of K‑12 mathematics learning pathways and fluency development.
