Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

About the role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
• Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under supervision.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
• Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
