Logistics Coordinator – US Operations

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator ensures proactive shipment tracking, customer communication, and carrier management across multiple US customer accounts. Acting as the primary liaison between carriers, customers, and internal teams, the role guarantees on‑time service, accurate visibility, and swift issue resolution while adhering to company and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery using TMS, MacroPoint, Indemni and other visibility tools.
• Provide timely shipment updates to customers and internal stakeholders, maintaining detailed activity logs.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, managing email and group communications.
• Track carrier performance, enforce compliance, apply fines for non‑tracking or late deliveries, and work with carriers to improve service.
• Investigate and resolve delays, missed deliveries, and service failures; coordinate recovery efforts and escalations.
• Support account‑specific tracking processes, USPS operations, brokerage activities, and specialized functions such as bed‑load management.
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow SOPs, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (required); associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication abilities.
