IT Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Specialist to safeguard our current environment while building the next generation of security infrastructure. You will lead incident response, conduct forensic investigations, and drive the deployment of advanced security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deep‑dive forensic investigations into security breaches or anomalies and respond to threats in real time.
• Act as technical lead for new security projects, from design through full‑scale deployment.
• Configure and optimize a diverse security stack, including EDR/XDR, network security tools, and application security scanners.
• Implement and manage encryption, tokenization, and key management to protect data at rest and in transit.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff and serve as a subject‑matter expert for cross‑functional IT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity operations or engineering.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure during incidents.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with EDR/XDR solutions for threat hunting.
• Hands‑on experience with Next‑Gen Firewalls (NGFW), IDS/IPS, VPNs, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Memory, disk, and network forensics expertise.
• Deep understanding of cryptographic protocols, Key Management Systems (KMS), and data masking/tokenization.
• Experience with SAST/DAST tools and securing CI/CD pipelines.
