IT Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Specialist to keep our current environment impenetrable while building the next generation of security infrastructure. The role will involve incident response, forensic investigations, and hands‑on deployment of advanced security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deep‑dive forensic investigations into security breaches or anomalies.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to threats in real‑time.
• Act as technical lead for new security initiatives from design to full‑scale deployment.
• Configure and optimize a stack that includes EDR, network security tools, and application security scanners.
• Implement and manage encryption and tokenization strategies for data at rest and in transit.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and serve as a subject‑matter expert for cross‑functional IT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated technical experience in cybersecurity operations or engineering.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure during a crisis.

Required skills

• EDR/XDR deployment and tuning.
• Next‑Gen Firewalls (NGFW), IDS/IPS, VPNs, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Memory, disk, and network forensics.
• Cryptographic protocols, Key Management Systems (KMS), and data masking/tokenization techniques.
• SAST and DAST tools, and securing the CI/CD pipeline.
