Geographic Legal Counsel Specialist

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Geographic Legal Counsel Specialist to provide comprehensive legal support across internal teams. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with data‑privacy laws, internal policies, and risk mitigation while advising on a wide range of legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the local Data Privacy specialist for multiple geographies, interpreting local laws and global policies.
• Serve as the primary legal advisor for cross‑functional reviews of data‑processing platforms, applications, tools and systems.
• Identify legal and compliance vulnerabilities, develop corrective action plans, and guide teams on risk avoidance.
• Collaborate with global and local legal areas to flag and route key compliance issues.
• Provide legal support to Accenture corporate functions on ethics, anti‑corruption, competition law, regulatory matters, intellectual property, conflicts of interest and codes of conduct.
• Deliver training and guidance to internal teams on corporate policies and compliance topics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• 5‑7 years of experience in law firms, in‑house counsel roles, or legal outsourcing.
• Fluency in English.
