Financial Controller

About the role

Remote Talent is looking for a highly capable Financial Controller to own financial reporting, controls, cash flow and commercial visibility for its growing international staffing business. This senior finance position will lead a team, strengthen controls and deliver timely, commercially useful information to the Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Take day‑to‑day ownership of the finance function, overseeing bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing and accounts receivable.
• Complete the monthly close and produce a comprehensive Directors’ management report covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budget vs. actual, gross margin, workforce costs, aged debtors and profitability.
• Maintain rolling forecasts, lead the annual budgeting process and prepare short‑ and medium‑term cash‑flow forecasts.
• Develop financial models to support growth planning, including new hires, pricing changes, wage increases and technology investments.
• Create and maintain financial policies, internal controls and SOPs, identifying and correcting control weaknesses and revenue leakage.
• Oversee accurate and timely client invoicing, payroll processing and compliance with relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or equivalent senior finance role.
• Proven ability to lead a finance team and drive process improvements.
• Experience working in an international, remote‑staffing or workforce‑solutions environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and recommend solutions.
