Director of Learning Science (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking an academic leader to drive its evidence‑based learning model at scale. As Director of Learning Science you will translate rigorous learning‑science principles into operational curricula, motivate teams, and champion the approach globally.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic frameworks that turn learning‑science research into actionable curriculum, motivation architecture, and application design.
• Lead execution reviews with Heads of Academics to keep school teams aligned, accountable, and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Analyze data, conduct interviews, and perform observations to assess ecosystems, identify obstacles to accelerated learning, and recommend concrete interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through planning, feedback loops, and milestone monitoring focused on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning in high‑stakes settings, delivering keynotes and engaging with national education authorities to promote systemic transformation.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Proven track record of shaping and executing an academic vision that yields evidence‑backed outcomes.
• Experience leading cross‑functional academic teams in diverse school environments.
• Strong public‑speaking ability and experience presenting to education policymakers or large audiences.
