Demand Paralegal

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Demand Paralegal to join our personal injury team in Glendale. The successful candidate will own the post‑treatment settlement stage, guiding cases from pre‑demand through demand drafting, negotiation, lien resolution, and handoff to litigation when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Draft polished demand packages that adhere to firm SOPs and are ready for attorney review.
• Review medical records, bills, liens, treatment histories and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters to achieve stronger settlement outcomes.
• Verify case details, resolve liens, and ensure seamless transition of files to litigation when settlements are not reached.
• Utilize AI drafting tools as a support resource while maintaining independent judgment.

Required profile

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work independently without micromanagement.
• Strong written English and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Professional persistence and ability to build productive relationships with insurance adjusters and medical providers.
• Passion for personal injury law and a strategic approach to case management.
