Data Analyst, Growth and Enablement

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a Data Analyst to support growth and enablement initiatives. The analyst will turn raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions across the organization. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand analytical needs and promote a data‑driven culture.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources, building structured datasets for reporting.
• Perform descriptive and diagnostic analysis, identify trends, anomalies and performance drivers, and conduct simple predictive modeling.
• Create visualizations, dashboards and insight summaries using Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Automate recurring analyses with Excel, Google Sheets or Google Apps Script to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Reporting Analysts, Business Solutions Architects and BI&A Officers to enable scalable analytics.
• Document methodologies, data definitions and validation procedures to ensure high data quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3+ years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, reporting or business intelligence.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions).
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, modeling).
• Experience with at least one BI tool: Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Plotly) – optional but preferred.
• Scripting for automation (Google Apps Script, VBA) – optional.
