Data Analyst (Deposits)

About the role

As a Data Analyst focused on the deposits portfolio, you will turn raw data into clear insights that guide the growth and risk management of Salmon’s savings products across Southeast Asia. You will work closely with product and engineering teams, shaping what gets measured and why.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain reporting and analytics on deposit volumes, structure, and dynamics over time.
• Define product metric trees, funnels, and conduct retention analysis.
• Monitor liquidity and concentration across the portfolio and forecast depositor churn.
• Run ad‑hoc research, customer segmentation, and unit‑economics analyses.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for product teams.

Required profile

• Strong practical SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs and complex joins.
• Solid grounding in statistics and ability to conduct end‑to‑end investigations.
• English written communication at B1 level or higher.
• Analytical maturity that outweighs years of experience.
