Customer Project Management Supervisor

About the role

3M is seeking a Customer Project Management Supervisor to lead its global TS Contract and Customer Program Management Operations teams. This role combines strategic oversight of contract processes with hands‑on project leadership to ensure seamless delivery for government and commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the global TS Contract and Customer Program Management Operations teams.
• Establish, monitor, and act on key performance metrics that drive business outcomes.
• Develop deep knowledge of the TS government contract process and related requirements.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and manage bids, contracts, renewals, and customer requests.
• Provide oversight for complex negotiations, contract risk management, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and internal controls.
• Build and support a back‑office team that serves global operations.
• Partner with vertical teams to align operational priorities with business strategies.
• Drive process improvements that increase efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or people‑management experience.
• At least 2 years of project‑management experience, including establishing team priorities, workload management, and performance metrics.
• Preferred: 2 years of contract‑negotiation experience and experience leading a multi‑national team.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, bid processes, contract negotiations, and risk management, with the ability to partner across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, and Legal functions.
