Corporate Nurse

About the role

The Company Nurse plays a critical role in safeguarding the health and safety of the workforce. This position manages employee health records, conducts health and safety assessments, ensures compliance with occupational safety standards, and collaborates with third‑party healthcare providers and HR on health‑related data and insurance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide emergency and first‑aid assistance for medical conditions and work‑related injuries.
• Work with the Company/Partner Physician to evaluate employee health, deliver diagnoses via face‑to‑face or teleconsultation, and refer to specialists when needed.
• Maintain accurate employee health records, incident reports, and documentation of work‑related accidents and diseases.
• Lead safety and health hazard appraisals, inspect work areas and equipment, and advise management on health matters.
• Generate detailed safety reports and regular statistical summaries on illnesses, medication use, consultations, BP monitoring, and sickness absence.
• Prepare and file mandatory DOLE reports (RSHO, AMR, WAIR, AEDR) and oversee the DOLE‑required medical surveillance program.
• Educate staff on preventive measures, promote healthy living, and support the execution of health‑and‑wellness programs with the OSH Committee.
• Conduct house visits when necessary to monitor employee health and provide counseling.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in occupational health or corporate health settings.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and DOLE reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with physicians, HR, and safety officers.
• Proven ability to manage medical documentation, health records, and generate analytical reports.
