Controller (Finance Head) – Financial Management Lead

About the role

We are building a world‑class organization and need a Controller (Finance Head) to own the financial backbone of the business. This role goes beyond traditional accounting, setting standards for financial discipline, protecting margins, and delivering insights that enable fast, smart decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting, bookkeeping, compliance and ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Build and maintain internal controls that safeguard assets and manage cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables and credit lines.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and partner with department heads to track performance, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations, coordinate audits, and liaise with external auditors, banks and regulators.
• Support leadership with scenario analysis, recommend process improvements and act as a trusted financial advisor.

Required profile

• CPA or strong accounting/finance background (mandatory).
• 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably in both corporate and project‑based environments.
• Deep understanding of Philippine tax and regulatory compliance.
• Detail‑oriented operator who thrives on structure while thinking big‑picture.
• Comfortable in a high‑growth, entrepreneurial environment where speed is essential.
