Casual Metering Operations Staff

About the role

The Casual Metering Operations Staff member will support the Metering Operations Department by handling external complaints, internal reports, and field findings related to service installations. The role ensures data accuracy in CRM, CC&B, and Zendesk, and provides timely feedback to customers through multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and prioritize FF/MC reports (Revenue‑Loss, Revenue‑Delay, Revenue‑No Effect) and coordinate corrective actions.
• Verify and correct erroneous information in the database based on internal and external reports.
• Maintain data quality by ensuring completeness of customer records from contractors and emergency crews.
• Control filing, storage, and retrieval of customer records; audit accuracy and timeliness of metering data postings.
• Activate electric service agreements for new accounts before the next billing cycle.
• Develop data‑retrieval procedures and produce monthly data‑controller statistics.
• Respond to customer complaints and queries within the day via social media, email, or phone.
• Create cases, dispatch job orders for installation/maintenance, and update results in CC&B.
• Monitor customer compliance with VOC, violations, and contract terms.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to assess reports and identify data discrepancies.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with customer service engineers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Attention to detail for data quality control and record management.
• Effective communication skills for responding to inquiries across multiple channels.
