Associate, Demand Planning

About the role

As an Associate in Demand Planning you will support the creation of weekly replenishment plans, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help maintain optimal inventory levels across distribution centres and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Create weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level using inventory parameters, sell‑out data and forecast.
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings and calculate supply plans based on demand forecasts.
• Prepare and update monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports.
• Maintain healthy inventory in DCs and stores according to target days‑cover.
• Monitor supplier issues, flag slow‑moving SKUs and identify non‑moving inventory.
• Work with inventory controllers to balance stock across warehouses.
• Own the category group’s S&OP issues related to ordering and availability.
• Support cross‑functional projects and resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in demand or supply planning, preferably in FMCG, grocery retail or e‑commerce.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and comfortable handling large data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
