Accountant – Australian Taxation & ERP Specialist

About the role
We are looking for a skilled Accountant based in the Philippines to support our Australian clients. You will apply your knowledge of Australian tax law and ERP systems to deliver accurate financial services and exceptional client support.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Australian GST, income tax, and payroll tax, preparing and filing BAS, IAS, and payroll tax returns.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, offering insights for performance improvement.
- Manage financial data using ERP platforms such as Jobpac, Xero, or similar tools.
- Interact with clients to gather information, answer queries, and provide expert financial advice.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities and growth areas.
- Maintain organized records to facilitate audits and compliance checks.
- Stay updated on Australian taxation changes through continuous learning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on Australian tax laws.
- Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and multitask effectively.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as Jobpac and Xero.
