Technician, Probe PMEE

About the role

Allegro is seeking a Probe PMEE Technician to support production uptime and equipment performance in its semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot, repair, and continuously improve critical test and probe systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of a 5S program across the production line to maintain an organized workspace.
• Maintain accurate inventory of production tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair probers and testers to minimize downtime.
• Restore out‑of‑service machines to production quickly.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects.
• Support engineers and supervisors on offline activities for project completion.
• Conduct Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) studies and analyze data.
• Report progress and follow up on tasks assigned by engineering staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, OR a technology course graduate with at least six months of maintenance experience, OR five years of equivalent experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and test systems.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits.
• Hands‑on experience with programming and vision systems.
