Technician – Assembly & Manufacturing

About the role

Collins Aerospace is seeking a motivated Technician to join its manufacturing team in Tanauan City. The role focuses on preparing and assembling electrical and mechanical components for aerospace products, ensuring high quality and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly and execute multiple skill‑level assembly activities.
• Assemble and install components according to blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, or established shop practices.
• Utilize hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to meet daily and monthly production targets.
• Adhere to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) standards and report hazards proactively.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Senior high school graduate; fresh graduates are welcome.
• 1‑3 years of related experience or training is an advantage.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable.
• Familiarity with manufacturing improvement tools such as CI, Kaizen, and 5S is preferred.

Required skills

• Soldering and wire‑stripping techniques.
• Operation of hand tools (crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers).
• Blueprint and diagram interpretation.
• Continuous improvement methodologies (CI, Kaizen, 5S).
