About the role
The Success Consultant – Upsell will build long‑term partnerships with Sprout’s customers, ensuring they extract the full value of their investment while driving additional revenue through upsell opportunities. This role blends enterprise sales prospecting, pipeline management, and relationship building to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass assigned revenue and upsell targets.
- Develop and execute renewal and upsell strategies that prioritize customer retention.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using Sprout’s CRM.
- Prepare tailored proposals for complex, C‑level opportunities.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail while handling multiple key accounts simultaneously.
- Work autonomously, travel as needed, and cultivate deep client relationships to generate referrals.
- Support the Head of Sales in implementing global sales best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the company.
Required profile
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in software sales to large enterprises.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience at a fast‑growing SaaS company.
- Demonstrated success acquiring new business via a direct sales model.
- Self‑starter with the ability to link technology benefits to business outcomes.
- Strong analytical mindset, business judgment, integrity, and a persistent, professional attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
