Store Pharmacist – Veterinary & Pet Care

About the role

The Store Pharmacist – Opus will manage the safe dispensing of veterinary medicines and pet health products within a retail environment. You will ensure regulatory compliance, support customers with medication advice, and maintain high pharmacy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense veterinary medicines and pet healthcare products in line with legal regulations.
• Provide counseling to customers on pet medication dosage, administration, and product selection.
• Monitor inventory levels, storage conditions, expiration dates and remove damaged or expired stock.
• Ensure adherence to pharmacy policies, standard operating procedures, and government regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with store operations and support product awareness and training initiatives for store staff.

Required profile

• Valid pharmacist licence.
• Experience in retail, community or veterinary pharmacy is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory management and regulatory compliance.
