Sponsorship Team Lead – Radio Broadcast

About the role

The Sponsorship Team Leader will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of radio sponsorship campaigns for Australia’s leading broadcast networks. You will manage a high‑performing operations team and ensure every sponsorship spot is booked, produced and aired to the highest broadcast standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the operational delivery of sponsorship campaigns across multiple networks.
• Allocate daily workload and coordinate activities within the Sponsorship team.
• Maintain booking accuracy in Campaign Boss, Aquira and related systems.
• Build and update weekly Production Grids for assigned networks.
• Coordinate recording sessions and confirm audio readiness before broadcast.
• Conduct audio checks, validate scripts and ensure material accuracy.
• Handle sponsorship communications and follow up on missing creative assets.
• Oversee material instruction processing to meet airtime deadlines.
• Maintain governance processes, reporting and operational documentation.
• Produce reports on campaigns, bonus credits and operational tracking.
• Support system updates, testing and improvement projects.
• Act as escalation point for operational issues and guide team members.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and broadcast accuracy.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in broadcast sponsorship, airtime operations, media traffic or radio operations environments.
• Previous experience in a leadership, senior operations or supervisory role.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail across all aspects of campaign execution.
