Senior Manager, Wind Construction (Contracts Management)

About the role

The Senior Manager, Wind Construction (Contracts Management) will support the delivery of utility‑scale wind projects by overseeing contract preparation, compliance, and coordination with EPC contractors and vendors. The role ensures schedules, budgets, permits, and documentation are managed to achieve timely and compliant project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting contracts and participate in negotiations alongside technical and legal teams.
• Ensure compliance with local and international legal requirements and maintain organized negotiation records.
• Support permitting and jurisdictional approvals for construction phases.
• Manage EPC contractor schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans, and permit compliance.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors to enforce contract terms, budget, and timeline.
• Prepare legal letters, notices, and responses with accuracy and contractual law knowledge.
• Conduct on‑site inspections to verify quality control and safe construction practices.
• Lead project status update meetings with utilities, EPCs, off‑takers, and finance partners.
• Organize and file all project documentation using the project‑specific SharePoint structure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract management for utility‑scale renewable energy or power projects.
• Engineering or business‑related educational background.
• More than 10 years of EPC contract management and negotiation experience.
• FIDIC certification or equivalent contract‑management training.
• Strong knowledge of EPC, PPA, and O&M agreements.
• Familiarity with utility‑scale wind and solar projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
