Security Engineer

About the role

Axi is seeking a Security Engineer to protect its global trading platform and ensure a secure environment for customers and colleagues. The role focuses on engineering, automation, and strategic security solutions across Azure and multi‑vendor cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a core member of the Security team and subject‑matter expert for Azure security.
• Investigate security incidents, provide actionable intelligence, and support incident response.
• Drive threat‑intelligence improvements and stay current with emerging security trends.
• Research, evaluate, and deploy multi‑regional security solutions.
• Review and enhance security controls, recommend improvements, and execute implementations.
• Lead design, pilot, and deployment projects for new security solutions across cloud environments.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience securing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Expertise with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Endpoint, and Identity.
• Practical incident‑response experience, including containment and root‑cause analysis.
• Offensive security background with web, API, and cloud security testing.
• Attacker mindset and ability to design preventive controls.

• Red/Purple team exposure, MITRE ATT&CK knowledge
