About the role
The Reservations Agent is the first point of contact for guests seeking to book, modify, or cancel stays at Sheraton Manila Bay. You will ensure accurate reservations, provide clear information on rates and policies, and deliver a welcoming experience that reflects our brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
- Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and recommend appropriate room types.
- Explain guarantee, special rates, and cancellation policies to callers.
- Document and accommodate special requests, including complimentary rooms, employee discounts, and travel‑agent rates.
- Answer guest inquiries about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
- Utilize the reservation system to input accurate data and apply correct codes and rates.
- Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and adhere to escalation procedures for guest concerns.
- Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
- Strong communication skills and a courteous telephone etiquette.
