Remote SEO Specialist (Full‑Time)

About the role

Trademark Hardware, a US‑based direct‑to‑consumer company that sells commercial door hardware, is looking for a remote SEO Specialist to own the organic search strategy and recover lost Google Shopping visibility. You will work closely with the CEO and the in‑house web team to diagnose issues, implement fixes, and drive sustainable traffic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve the 50% drop in Google Shopping clicks and correct product‑feed brand attribution.
• Audit and optimise top‑performing organic landing pages to improve CTR, titles, meta descriptions, schema and internal linking.
• Target high‑volume category keywords (e.g., “door threshold,” “door seal,” “door weather stripping”) to achieve top‑5 rankings.
• Produce weekly SEO performance reports covering rankings, traffic and conversions.
• Continuously optimise on‑page elements across category and product pages.
• Develop and execute a content strategy for buyer‑intent and informational queries.
• Lead link‑building campaigns with industry publications, contractor associations and hardware blogs.
• Enhance technical SEO aspects such as Core Web Vitals, schema markup, site speed and mobile UX.
• Monitor Google Search Console and GA4, proactively addressing any issues.
• Collaborate with web developers (FinestShops) and copywriters for technical and content improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SEO experience for ecommerce brands.
• Proven track record of recovering Google Shopping visibility drops.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Merchant Center, Google Shopping, Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
• Strong written English for a US audience.
• Self‑directed, organised and proactive problem‑solver.
