Regional Account Manager – South Luzon (Local Payments)

About the role

Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, is looking for a Regional Account Manager to drive merchant acquisition and relationship management across South Luzon. You will be the primary point of contact for merchants adopting Coins' payment solutions, including POS terminals, QR payments, and e‑wallet services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants from various industries to use Coins' payment solutions.
• Negotiate merchant discount rates, service agreements, and other commercial terms.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support.
• Serve as the escalation point for merchant concerns and operational issues.
• Monitor portfolio performance, transaction volumes, and revenue growth; identify upselling opportunities.
• Conduct regular market visits and business development activities throughout South Luzon.
• Stay informed on regional market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in merchant acquisition, business development, or account management within fintech, banking, payments, or e‑commerce.
• Proven track record of closing deals, managing merchant portfolios, and meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management abilities.
• Self‑driven, organized, and able to cover the South Luzon region.
• Willingness to travel for field and merchant visits.
• Mandarin speaking skills are a plus.
