Quality Engineer

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead and support its Total Quality Assurance Program across a range of electric and electronic products. The role focuses on identifying and eliminating quality issues, managing customer complaints, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and control elements of a Total Quality Assurance Program.
• Gather quality data, identify root causes of defects, scrap, rework and customer complaints, and initiate corrective actions.
• Research, recommend and implement process and quality improvements.
• Manage product quality plans, drive improvement projects and prepare quality reports.
• Oversee customer complaint handling, corrective and preventive action programs.
• Support in‑process and outgoing inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and control plans.
• Direct and supervise quality testing of samples, compile data and issue reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve product‑related quality issues and promote continuous improvement.
• Handle document control activities and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (excluding Civil) or higher.
• Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing electric/electronic products.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management system standards.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as Control Plan, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, APQP and PPAP.
• Proficiency with MS Office and quality analysis software such as Minitab.
