Purchasing Specialist – Supply Chain Operations

About the role

As a Purchasing Specialist at HelloConnect you will support inbound supply‑chain operations, ensuring ingredients arrive complete and on time. You will work closely with fulfillment sites, suppliers and internal teams to keep the supply chain running smoothly and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inbound supply‑chain activities and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of ingredients.
• Collaborate with fulfillment sites to resolve stock shortages, late deliveries and non‑compliance incidents.
• Communicate daily with suppliers to manage emergency stock needs and hold them accountable to service standards.
• Assist Buyers with administrative tasks such as inbox management, emergency purchase orders and supplier query resolution.
• Perform data entry, reporting and analysis to support continuous improvement of the supply chain.
• Use G‑Suite and internal tools to monitor, troubleshoot and mitigate inbound risks.
• Share relevant information with Procurement, Food Safety, Inventory and Production teams.

Required profile

• Four‑year college graduate, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, Management or a related business field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in international markets, preferably in supply‑chain, logistics or transportation.
• Hands‑on mentality with the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages (German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using G‑Suite (Google Workspace) and other in‑house procurement tools.
