Project Assistant – Climate Displacement Support

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Project Assistant to support the implementation of operational foresight and local preparedness initiatives related to climate displacement in the Philippines. This role will assist in coordinating activities, managing documentation, and providing logistical support for field missions and trainings.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of activities under the Risk Index for Climate Displacement and Climate Catalytic Fund, including stakeholder and community engagement.
• Prepare communication letters, field reports, attendance sheets, and other project documentation.
• Provide logistical support during field missions, trainings, and coordination meetings.
• Maintain, monitor, and organize the project database, files, tools, and records to ensure accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with community members and local stakeholders to facilitate field activities.
• Assist emergency response teams during disaster response operations.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School diploma with at least four years of relevant experience, or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Head of Programmes, the National Emergency and Preparedness Officer, and the National Project Officer.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
