Procurement Officer – Non Food

About the role

The Corporate Strategic Procurement Officer (Non‑Food) is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and accrediting suppliers for all non‑food materials, supplies and services that support operations across the SHG group of companies. The role ensures cost efficiency, quality and timely delivery while collaborating with internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for non‑food categories such as construction materials, marketing collaterals, tools, IT hardware and software, maintenance services, packaging and other operational supplies.
• Source, evaluate and accredit suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance and maintain consistent pricing, service levels and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with internal departments to consolidate requirements, support projects and ensure smooth procurement transactions.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase requisitions and purchase orders in the procurement system.
• Update supplier accreditation documents and keep the non‑food supplier directory current.
• Analyse procurement data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve supplier reliability.
