Medical Information Specialist I – Night Shift & Hybrid

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Medical Information Specialist I to support clinical trial patient screening during US business hours on a night shift schedule. The role combines technical medical information delivery with adverse event intake, providing high‑quality service to patients, healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high‑volume inbound and outbound interactions (calls, emails, SMS/Chats) from individuals interested in clinical trials.
• Conduct eligibility screening, match participants to appropriate trials and sites, and document all interactions accurately.
• Respond to technical and medical information inquiries regarding pharmaceutical or device products.
• Intake and process adverse events, product complaints, and fulfillments in compliance with client and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records in designated databases and use client‑approved resources to formulate concise responses.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse or Pharmacist qualification.
• Willingness to work night shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM PHT) aligned with US business hours.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting with one on‑site day per week during a 4‑5 week training period.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
